Candidates with the following qualifications are invited to apply: A valid Able Seafarer Engine (STCW III/5) Certificate of Proficiency with at least two yearsâ€™ experience in refrigeration onboard cargo vessels; or A Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology with at least two yearsâ€™ work experience in the maintenance of ventilation, cooling and freezer plants.
Onboard duties will include: Safe operation, maintenance and repair of the refrigeration plants, including compressor units and piping systems for refrigerants; Safe operation, maintenance and repair of the onboard air conditioning system, air ducts, supply and exhaust ventilating fans including supervision and monitoring of temperatures in all compartments of the vessel
