Job Description
An established insurance company based in the Northern Suburbs is looking for an experienced Short Term Underwriter to join their team. The following will be required and expected of the ideal person:
Responsibilities:
New Business quote comparisons.
Claims registration and handling of claims.
Policy amendments.
Quotes on existing policies.
Keep track of arrears premiums.
Policy renewals.
Requirements:
Grade 12.
RE Certificate.
Santam Personal and Commercial Training and Certificates will be to your advantage.
Experience of personal and commercial underwriting in Brokerage.
At least 5 years’ experience in the industry.
Enthusiastic and Passion for the industry.
Interacting with people face to face.
