Position for Pharmacist
Job Description
Our client, a Retail Pharmacy, requires a pharmacist.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager and will be responsible for the following areas:
CRITICAL PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
• Deliver a high standard of quality service to all customers.
• Accuracy and integrity working with other staff members.
• Deal with all service providers in a professional manner (e.g. Doctors, suppliers and medical aids) Complete daily functions accurately.
• Promote and carry out the image of the pharmacy in a professional manner.
• Continuous Professional development and Training of all staff.
• Keeping abreast with developments in relevant technology and optimal utilisation thereof
REQUIREMENTS: PHARMACIST
• Registered with SAPC as Pharmacist.B.Pharm
• Sound knowledge of a Hospital Pharmacy and Retail Pharmacy preferred.
COMPLIMENTARY SKILLS
• Prepared to work as part of a team within an existing framework.
• Must be able to work full days and overtime as required by Management which may include amongst others, shifts and stocktaking.
• An ability to work under pressure.
