Our client is a large global specialty chemical company for building and motor vehicle supplies. It has a leading market position in both the building sector and the automotive industry. They are looking for a dynamic, dedicated and highly experienced Marketing Officer with an exceptionally outgoing character. Events, golf day and function co-ordination skills are very important. These coupled with strong inter-personal, web-based and media communication skills, new business development/sales/product marketing and a 'go-the-extra-mile' type attitude are essential for this position.
• Organising and hosting firm events and seminars
• Assist in managing tender submissions and maintaining the tenders database
• Producing marketing material, brochures and web content
• Drafting the firm’s employee newsletter and drafting internal mail communications
• Coordinating the firm’s client email newsletter and newsflashes
• Assist in managing the financial and budget controls of the Marketing department
• Media communications: handling media queries, coordinating and preparing for media interviews, overseeing media articles, drafting and distributing press releases, media monitoring and operating the firm’s social media accounts and firm’s website
• Marketing Degree
• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Ability to work independently and to use initiative
• Meticulous and ability to pay attention to detail
• You’ll need to be someone with a lot of drive and enthusiasm that can eventually grow into a Marketing Manager’s position
• Computer skills – Proficient in MS Office, Publisher, Social Media platforms
