Position for Factory Driver
Job Description
We are currently looking for highly responsible and reliable Factory Drivers.
Key Tasks:
Transport materials to customers and from vendors and complete all required paperwork.Obtain signatures from the customer for the delivered products, Perform regular inspections and safety checks of the vehicles before driving them, Maintain safety and conduct standard examination of the loaded goods Completed the duties according to company policies and procedures Assist stock loaders to load and unload the materials in the designated areas Verified and oversaw the unloading and loading shipments to avoid loss/ theft of stock.
Specific Skills /Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret road maps/ accurately follow GPS co ordinates Ability to determine cost efficient routes and time efficient scheduling of deliveries Ability to adhere to and enforce all warehouse security procedures Skilled in driving trucks and vans for long distances and long hours with multi drop deliveries and collections Hardworking and trustworthy Ability to load and unload a truck thoroughly and securely Ability to perform the delivery/pick-up of customer material in a courteous, reliable and safety conscious manner Strong customer service skills Focused, alert and reliable .
