Job Description
Introduction
A clothing retailer serving entry level fashion customers across South Africa is seeking to employ an experienced Allocator within their merchandise team for their head office in the Durban area. This role requires someone who is driven and ambitious as growth brings opportunities for career advancement.
Description
Duties (will include but not limited to):
Responsible for stock allocations to stores
Responsible for carefully monitoring the balance of stock between stores and correcting imbalances through allocations or IBTs
Responsible for handling store queries
Responsible for creating and maintaining store grading for allocations.
Responsible for updating item projections for core items.
Set up and provide reports.
Follow up on outstanding orders and IBTs
Profile.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 (Bcom Degree advantageous)
3 years minimum experience within the role in the retail sector
Competencies:
Strong numeric acumen
Analytical skills.
People orientated.
Good decision making skills.
Great communication skills
Able to work well in a team.
