Description
Duties (will include but not limited to):
Allocation of stock to stores in line with the stock assortment strategy, whilst taking into account current store sales and inventory patterns, in order to meet store sales plan.
Pre-allocating / strategic allocations of stock prior to its arrival.
Allocation of replenishment/ core stock to stores, ensuring that replenishment merchandise is working as they should. Monitoring service levels of these core items in stores and reacting appropriately.
Monitoring stock levels in Distribution Centre and ensuring that they do not age and are sent out timeously to reach maximum sales
Monitor and maintain stock levels in store and ensure that the covers are as balanced as it can be
Liaise with stores.
Communicate distributed stock to the Distribution Centre (warehouse) and ensure that it leaves timeously to reach stores as soon as possible
Ensure stock is allocated to new stores timeously to allow them to open with full and a balance assortment range, including promotional opening specials.
Take into account store closure to ensure most efficient closure process
Minimum Requirements:
Matric qualification.
2-3 years experience in allocation.
